Name Petersen, Michele Kueter
Beschreibung received her M.A. in Theology from the University of Notre Dame, B.A. in History and Political Science, M.A. in History and Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the University of Iowa. She has taught in the Department of Philosophy at Clarke University, the Department of Religion at Cornell College, and the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Mount Mercy University. Her work is in the area of Philosophy of Religion. Her research interests include the religious philosophy of Paul Ricoeur, Edith Stein, and John Henry Newman, the Carmelite textual tradition, Catholic-Jewish dialogue, and ethical responses to religious diversity and religious pluralism. She has published essays on Ricoeur, Stein, and Newman. She lives in Iowa City, Iowa
