Jahrhundert von dem österreichischen Architekten Franz Anton Pilgram konzipierte und von Grund auf neu erbaute Zisterzienserabtei von Szentgotthárd anhand ihrer Architektur und künstlerischen Ausstattung vorzustellen. Nach einer kurzen Beschreibung der historischen Situation, wird im ersten Hauptteil die Entwicklung der Stiftsgeschichte von ihren Anfängen im 12. Jahrhundert bis zur Aufhebung im 20. Jahrhundert beschrieben. Im Anschluss daran wird das Schaffen des Architekten Pilgram behandelt und schließlich wird die Zisterzienserabtei in Szentgotthárd vorgestellt. Neben einer Analyse der Entwurfszeichnungen für den Klosterkomplex, wird der Fassadenaufbau beschrieben und die Formensprache des Architekten erläutert. Der zweite Teil behandelt die innere Ausstattung der Kirche und der Räumlichkeiten des Klostergebäudes, die hauptsächlich von Künstlern aus dem Mutterkloster in Heiligenkreuz und Mitarbeitern geschaffen wurde. Die Beschreibung und Analyse des spätbarocken Gesamtkunstwerks schafft eine Basis für weitere spezifische Untersuchungen. | ||
| 520 | a | eng: The main focus of this thesis lies on presenting the former cistercian abbey of Szentgotthárd designed and newly built in the 18th century by the Austrian architect Franz Anton Pilgram, based on its architecture and artistic equipment. After a brief description of the historical background situation, the first main section summarizes the history of the monastery from its beginnings in the 12th century until its dissolution in the 20th century. Afterwards, the œuvre of architect Pilgram is discussed, and finally, the cistercian abbey in Szentgotthárd is presented. In addition to the analysis of the architectural drawings for the complex, the facade construction is described and explains the formal language of the architect. The second main part of the thesis deals with the internal equipment of the church and the premises of the monastery building, which was mainly created by artists from the mother monastery in Heiligenkreuz and their assistants. The description and analysis of this late-baroque synthesis of the arts provides a basis for further specific researches. | ||
