Die Presbyter werden in den Konzilsdokumenten immer im engsten Konnex mit dem Episkopat beschrieben. Dabei trat auch die gemeinschaftliche Dimension des Presbyterats in seiner Bedeutung für die Kirche neu ins Bewusstsein.<br />Deshalb beschrieb getreten war, beschrieb das Konzil die sakramental in der Weihe begründete Zusammengehörigkeit der Presbyter mit dem Bischof und untereinander mit dem aus der Rückbesinnung auf die frühkirchliche Überlieferung gewonnenen Begriff Presbyterium, allerdings ohne dabei ausdrücklich von einer Kollegialität der Presbyter zu sprechen. In der theologischen Literatur der vergangenen Jahrzehnte gewinnt die Zuordnung und Synthetisierung der Begriffe Kollegialität und Presbyterium zunehmend an Bedeutung, aber auch reservierte und ablehnende Stellungnahmen zu einer solchen Verschränkung liegen vor.<br />In dieser Arbeit werden jene Dokumente des Konzils, die explizit auf den Begriff Presbyterium zurückgreifen, darauf untersucht, ob und in wie weit die Kollegialitätsperspektive in diesem Zusammenhang angewendet werden kann. Das wird um eine Vertiefung zur thematischen Fragestellung im Bereich der Liturgie und des kanonischen Rechts ergänzt.<br /> | ||
| 520 | a | eng: The significance of the collegiality of the episcopal office as revitalized by the Council at the same time demanded a new definition of the threefold Ordo from the episcopates side. In the documents of the 2nd Vatican Council the presbyters are therefore always seen and described in the closest connection with the episcopate. As the common dimension of the presbyterate in its significance for the church had also been fully realized afresh, the Council described the unity of the presbyters with the bishop and among themselves by means of the term Presbyterium, a term gained from the recollection of early church tradition, without, however, expressly speaking of a collegiality of the presbyters. Yet in the theological literature of the recent decades can be found the classification and synthesizing of the concepts of collegiality and Presbyterium with more and more emphasis. But there are also attitudes of reserve and disapproval towards such linking.<br />This thesis deals with those documents of the council which make explicitly use of the term presbyterium and asks whether up to what extend aspects of collegiality can be adequately used in this context.<br />Another chapter offers an additional extension and reinsurance concerning thematic questions in the areas of liturgy and canon law.<br /> | ||
