| 520 | a | ger: Inspiriert von einem Anhang in der von Werner Welzig herausgegebenen Barockpredigtanthologie nimmt meine Arbeit ein häufiges, von der Literaturwissenschaft bisher aber kaum registriertes und dargestelltes Phänomen in den Blick: in unterschiedlichster Gestalt, Perspektivierung und Ausführlichkeit finden sich in vielen erzählenden Werken Predigten. Mittels der Textanalyse dreier relevanter Werke (Jeremias Gotthelf Uli, der Knecht, Gottfried Keller Das verlorene Lachen, Gertrud von le Fort Die Magdeburgische Hochzeit) wird gezeigt, daß es sich bei ausgeführten Predigtvorkommen um einen zentralen Textbaustein handeln kann. Dieser Nachweis wird geführt, indem untersucht wird, wie sich erzählte Predigt im Gesamttext verhält, das heißt, welche Funktionen sie besitzt, in welcher Weise sie im betreffenden Werk präsent ist, wie die Predigten eines Textes in Zusammenhang stehen, ob und in welcher Weise Predigt neben strukturellen Qualitäten auch eine Relevanz für die Textaussage besitzt.<br />Exemplarisch wird vorgeführt, daß ein interpretatorisches Ansetzen bei der Predigt neue Bedeutungsschichten der betreffenden erzählenden Texte erschließen kann. Weiteres Ziel der Arbeit ist der Entwurf eines Profils erzählter Predigt, welches sich unter Heranziehung weiterer Textbeispiele aus der Präsentation des narrativen Inventars des Phänomens, zentraler Gestaltungsprinzipien und Funktionen abzeichnen soll. Schließlich wird zur Bestimmung der Eigenart des literarischen Phänomens nach dem Wesenskern der Predigt als geistlicher Rede gefragt und eine Relationierung zwischen erzählter Predigt und der außerliterarischen Predigt versucht. Die Ausführungen über das Profil erzählter Predigt möchten zugleich einen Ansatz für eine Terminologie des Phänomens liefern.<br /> | ||

This is a frequent phenomenon in narrative texts appearing in very different forms, perspectives and degrees of detail. Although narrative sermons are rather frequent, up to now they are hardly recognized as object of philological interest.<br />By means of analysis of three texts corresponding to my special interest (Uli, der Knecht by Jeremias Gotthelf, Das verlorene Lachen by Gottfried Keller and Die Magdeburgische Hochzeit by Gertrud von le Fort), I am showing that in these cases the narrative sermon is a corner-stone of the text: I investigate the functions of sermons in narrative texts, the way they appear in the whole text, the relation between several sermons in one text and I examine if narrative sermons have any importance concerning the message of the text. At the same time the results of the analysis demonstrate how an interpretation can open new levels of meaning by paying attention to narrative sermons.<br />A further aim of my work is to design the outlines of narrative sermons showing the inventory of this phenomenon and its central principals of structure and function.<br />Finally the specific character of this phenomenon is shown by listing the different kinds of relationship between narrative sermons and sermons as religious speech.<br />The resulting outlines of narrative sermons represent a first terminology of the phenomenon. | ||
